My favourite childhood memory is of getting up early on Holi and waking up all my colony friends and then playing Holi. We had a ritual every year to visit all our relatives and put gulal and play Holi till late evening. We would come back home and then shower for hours, to take off the colour. Those were the best days. This year, I will play Holi with my kids as they love this festival and then we will visit friends and play Holi with them too. I enjoy this festival with same joy and zest. I can only say, ''Holi ke din, dil khil jaate hain, rango mein rang mil jaate hain."

My favourite childhood memory of Holi was when I used to play Holi with my younger brother Manish. We are four brothers including my cousins, and we used to live in the same house together. We used to put colours and water on each other. We all were very naughty and would climb on top of our house in Delhi and play. We had a rival gang too and we used to throw water balloons and colours at each other. It was never nasty as we never got out of hand. This year too, I'll go to my friend's place, where we will have a get together. Now, as we all have grown up, the meaning and way of playing Holi has changed. Now, we don't really waste too much water as water is anyway very scarce on this planet. We sit together, dance, sing, try to arrange bhaang ka pakodas and have a good time with friends.

In my childhood, I looked forward to Holi and since my dad was in the police, we used to be travelling from place to place. But whichever places we went to, my mom, me, and my dad really enjoyed Holi with our friends. There used to be a lot of food, colours and like youngsters, we also used to play Holi in the mud. The best Holi I enjoyed was in Pune when I was in my second year of college. This year, definitely there will be no colours. I will be playing Holi by not indulging in water. This time I'll play Holi at my elder brother Raju Ankola's house in Thane. Some of our friends are getting together at his place which includes both of our families. We're going to spend time together with a lot of food and sweets. It's going to be a good gathering as we've not done this family day since so many years. It's going to be a great Holi and I am looking forward to it. The definition of Holi has changed over the years. Earlier it was about water and colours. Now, it's better to save water as the way the population is exploding and way the climatic changes are coming across, we've to really think about the water crisis in the world as well as our country.

I don't have a particular memory as I have always just loved playing Holi. This year I've got no plans for Holi. Holi means fun for me, that's colours, food, friends, and masti. From my childhood till now, it's always been the same for me.

I used to sit in a baby tub filled with colours and water in my house and my Holi used to start that time only. I used to love playing with pichkaris in my childhood. I generally celebrate Holi with my family which goes on for the entire day. I want to wish my fans a very happy Holi.

A few years back, I didn't want to play Holi as I was just against colours and everything. My brother is very mischievous and I still remember when I would wake up every year, I would have colours on my face. My brother would be super happy that before going to play Holi with his friends, he put colour on my face. This is one of my best memories of Holi, which was so much fun. Everyone knows my sister recently got married last year in April, so this is my first time with my brother in law. I am very excited that he would be part of my Holi. I am very happy and excited and my mom is making gujiyas and other sweets. I always wait for Holi but this year it's more special as there'll be a new member of our family. I remember as kids we played Holi with colours and water and we would end up wasting lots of water. Now, after growing up, we've realized that we shouldn't waste so much water and play with chemical-free colours. In our childhood, we used to play Holi with our friends by going out the whole day. We played with pichkaris, colours. But after growing up now we've realized it's better to play Holi with dry colours which don't affect your skin and hair. We shouldn't really wastewater that's a most important thing I guess.
