Apart from a brief appearance in his television show, Sandiip discovered his acting side when he played an antagonist in Murder 2 as a trans gender and was critically acclaimed for his convincing performance.
Sandiip later went on to be the creative director of one of the biggest television house's & later helmed his production house under which he produced a progressive show revolving around the love story of overweight protagonists. His recent chat show Juzzbaat created a stir with actors making revelations on the show. We contacted the producer cum actor ahead of his show for a quick chat.
With a powerhouse actor like Sharman Joshi, what do you take back from him after working together.
Sharman's energy is like infectious - I mean that man can go on and on and looking at him, you have no other option but to match up. The cast is honestly a set of extremely talented and disciplined actors that I have seen. How to stay sincere to your craft is what this team has taught me.
What are the common things you both connected on?
I think what we connected on was the food and diet. He was on Keto and I do intermittent fasting - so the importance of being healthy, was surely a connect.

Are you nervous as there are no retakes in a play as compared to television ?
Nervous as hell... more than retakes and lines, I am scared about being in front of a live audience after 10 years. I just hope that I live up to the expectations of my cast and team
If you had to adapt any play into a TV show, which one would you pick & why?
Not really because plays have a very definite story and it must end when it has to. Yes, a web series maybe, but am not saying which play because I don't want my idea to be copied ... lol...
