The Delhi government's health department has issued a notice to Karan Johar and his production house for promoting a tobacco product on the reality show, India's Next Superstars. An ad for the product was beamed during the show, which has KJo as judge and producer.
The filmmaker has been served with a notice for the violation of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003, which includes a penalty that can extend to Rs 5,000 and a jail term of up to five years.
