The TV show, Pehredaar Piya Ki, has stirred up another controversy. The show, about a nine-year-old boy's marriage to a 19-year-old girl, has been receiving a barrage of criticism, since it went on air for its regressive and bizarre content.
The makers have now decided to go fast forward by taking a 12-year leap. This will make the boy 21 and of marriageble age. It is said the hue and cry against the show, made the makers do some quick thinking and resort to a time leap. But the makers insist this was part of the plot. Not that the viewers are amused.
