Charu Asopa
It is her love for sports that drove actor Charu Asopa to be part of Ekta Kapoor and Anand Mishra's MTV BCL. The actor played for Kolkata Baabu Moshayes and says that she has been involved in sports since her school days. "I always wanted to become a part of BCL as I loved sports.
I used to play state level badminton and Kho Kho in my school and college so I've always loved sports. But due to my shows, I couldn't play it the last two times," she says, adding, "Playing in BCL was an amazing experience and I loved it. It was fun playing BCL. The best part was taunting other players and I was playing against my ex, so it was good fun. He couldn't bowl and I was screaming that why aren't you playing properly."
The actor admits that it can be tough to take out times for such shows. "It's tough and I've seen many of my colleagues when they were playing for BCL and also shooting their shows. They had to request their production houses for early pack up, so it was difficult for them," she says.
