Television's favourite Bhabhi ji, actor Shilpa Shinde has never cowed down in the face of controversies and appears to be equally strong in reality show 'Bigg Boss 11' as well. She started off challenging host superstar Salman Khan to taste achaars. The task included Salman sampling different pickles and telling Shilpa what they are made off. He, of course, got the first one wrong, after which he opted to try out more. However, he hated them all. The two posed for a quick selfie later.
Then came in Vikas Gupta, who had worked with Shilpa in the show 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai'. For the uninitiated, last year, Shilpa had objected to the exclusivity clause in her contract and had said that she was being mentally tortured on the show. Eventually she had quit the show. In March this year, the actor had filed an FIR against the show's producer, Sanjay Kohli, accusing him of sexual harassment
Vikas, who was the programming head of the channel at the time, admitted that he and Shilpa had a complicated past. This was followed by a visibly uncomfortable dialogue, where Vikas referred to working with Shilpa as a khatarnak.
Commenting on their argument. Salman inquired about what exactly had happened. Shilpa said that even Vikas was unaware of the truth. To which, Vikas said that he had a meeting with Shilpa where he requested her not to do this and that a lot of people will lose their jobs if the show shuts down. The two also argued regarding the singing of the contract and the manner in which Shilpa was threatened to either comply with the demands of the channel, or to leave.
Shilpa turned to Salman to tell him that the makers finished her work in 2 days and spread rumours about her asking for money and that she is not professional.
Vikas added that if he knew Shilpa was coming, he would have refused 'Bigg Boss 11'.
The upcoming episodes will be interesting as they might reveal more about what exactly the actor went through. Shilpa is a very levelheaded actress and has a quality called clarity of thought.
