'Bigg Boss 11': Arshi Khan, who 'had sex' with Shahid Afridi, calls him 'mehboob'

'Bigg Boss 11' hosted by Salman Khan has kicked off amid much fanfare and the line-up of contestants this year has surely made fans excited for the show. From VJs and actors to self-proclaimed godwoman and Bollywood starlet, the participants are a mix of celebrities and commoners. One of the most controversial contestants, however, is model Arshi Khan who had once claimed to have had sex with Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. On the first day of 'Bigg Boss 11' itself, Arshi Khan made a sensational statement by calling Shahid Afridi her 'mehboob'.

While interacting with 'Bigg Boss 11' house inmates, Arshi Khan called Shahid Afridi her 'mehboob' and left fellow contestants dumb-founded, especially Shilpa Shinde.

A report on indiascribes.com states that Arshi Khan apparently made her last phone call to Shahid Afridi before entering the 'Bigg Boss 11' house, but was disappointed when he did not answer.

Arshi Khan's publicist Flynn Remedios told the website, "Arshi Khan is not just my client. She is a dear friend and in fact treats me like her father. I know for sure she tried to dial Shahid Afridi's personal mobile number, but I cannot say if the call connected and if Arshi did speak to Afridi at that time. I did not see what exactly transpired, but she looked a bit disappointed afterwards, possibly because she was not able to speak to Afridi."

Arshi Khan has been making headlines for her association with Shahid Afridi for the last few years. On September 8, 2015, Arshi tweeted about her relationship with Shahid Afridi. "Yes, I had sex with Afridi! Do I need the Indian media's permission to sleep with someone? It's my personal life. For me it was love," she wrote. Following the revelation, a fatwa was issued against her by a mufti from a Madrassa in Pakistan.

In 2016, Arshi Khan claimed that she was pregnant, a statement that sparked rumours of Afridi being the father of her baby. Arshi, however, never clarified if Afridi was the father of her child. Later, in an interview, Arshi Khan, however, denied being pregnant.

Last year, a video of her going topless and stripping naked for cricketers had gone viral online.
