If the latest buzz is to be believed, it will be curtains for television show 'Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant' by the end of February 2017. We hear the show on a super humanoid robot, which debuted on television in February this year, will make way for a male-oriented series. There is also talk of dipping TRPs.
A unit hand informs, "The channel is coming up with a few new shows. They want to focus on male-oriented shows for a change, and are planning to scrap one series. Since Sushant Singh-hosted crime show 'Savdhaan India' is doing well, it will continue. So will 'Madam, Please May I Come In', since it has a male protagonist. 'Naagarjun - Ek Yoddha' is coming to an end and will be replaced by Niti Taylor's 'Ghulam'. The channel officials now have to decide between Kalash and 'Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant', but the latter is more likely to be scrapped."

Karan V Grover was recently replaced with Raqesh Vashisth as the male lead (robot). The channel refused to confirm the story while show producer Sonali Jaffar refrained from commenting.
Vahbiz Dorabjee, who plays Maggie Gyaan Kant in the daily soap, says, "I don't think the show is going anywhere [going to end]. 'Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant' is wonderful and should not be terminated. At least, I hope it is not."
