Arjun, who is currently seen on another Ekta Kapoor drama "Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi", said his focus is more on making a good quality show, rather than worrying about the length of his character.

"My role is so strong and has many shades so I am confident. I don't have any insecurity about starring in a show, which has two powerful female characters. TV is a female-oriented medium and in fact in our show there are other strong characters as well like Sudha Chandran's, who is my mother in the serial," Arjun told PTI.

"Lead, second lead are all terminologies we use but in reality there is nothing like that," he said.

Besides his "well crafted" role, the 32-year-old actor opted for "Naagin" because of the production house behind it. "It is an Ekta Kapoor show. I am already doing one Balaji serial and now they have become like a family. You know if there is Ekta Kapoor then there will be something different and exciting," Arjun said.

The "Miley Jab Hum Tum" star feels the concept of 'Icchadari Naagin' will intrigue the viewers and attract them to this love story, which is a finite series.

"'Naagin' as a concept, over the years, has always intrigued people. There is a lot of curiosity around it and people still don't know much about it. This show should be an eye-opener about supernatural things. Also, the audience will connect with the various characters."

Arjun said he wants to try his hand at reality TV shows, but only those he is comfortable with.

"I have never ventured into reality TV. I would love to shows that suit my sensibility like a 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'. I would even want to host shows. But a 'Bigg Boss' is not my kind of show. I would not do something like that," the actor said.

"Naagin" also stars Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan. It will air on Colors from November 1.
