The musical extravaganza turned out to be a historic moment as artistes and ambassadors from India and Pakistan came together on one stage, a scene often witnessed during an India-Pakistan cricket match.
The finale gala saw the finalists Diljaan, Yash Raj, Nabeel and Mulazim compete against each other, giving mind-blowing performances while crooning to popular songs. The mentors didn't disappoint either as Atif Aslam created magic while Himesh Reshammiya's power-packed songs got everyone grooving to his tunes.
The jury including Asha Bhosle, Abida Parveen and Runa Laila were joined by luminaries of the music world Ismail Darbar, Suresh Wadkar, Janab Ghulam Ali Sahab and Sajjad Ali. Host for the day Ayesha Takia matched her spirits to that of the crowd, while Laila enthralled the audience with her soulful renditions.
