Announcing the beginning of the filming of Salaar, Prabhas had posted three years ago, "Today I take a leap into the world of #SALAAR. Shoot commences from Jan 2021. An Indian Film by @hombalefilms @vkiragandur @prashanthneel"
On February 2021, Prabhas had announced, "Delighted to share the release date of #SALAAR. 14th April 2022 see you in cinemas!"
Wishing Shruti Haasan on her birthday on January 28, 2022, Prabhas had written, "Wishing my entertaining heroine, the energy ball on set @shrutzhaasan , a very Happy Birthday! #Salaar." We got our first look at another character from Salaar.
The release date of Salaar was subsequently postponed to September 2023. Sharing another poster from the film, Prabhas wrote, "#TheEraOfSalaarBegins. See you at the cinemas from 28.09.2023. #Salaar."
The teaser of Salaar was released in July this year. With it, we got another explosive poster featuring Prabhas.
The final release date of the film was announced on Prabhas' birthday in September this year.
On Diwali 2023, the makers announced the date of the trailer release, increasing anticipation among fans. "Gear up for an explosive celebrations (sic). #SalaarCeaseFire Trailer is set to detonate on Dec 1st at 7:19 PM. Happy Deepavali Everyone," Prabhas posted on Instagram
