It was a royal affair with celebs, politicians and other socialites in attendance. ChaySam, as the couple is fondly called by fans, held a Mehendi ceremony ahead of the Hindu wedding.

And on October 7, 2017, they got married according to the Christian ceremony. Reportedly, Rs 10 crore was spent for the wedding of Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya.

For the Mehendi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu dazzled in a powder blue lehenga, with pink and blue floral embroidery.

Her outfit was paired with platinum jewellery including a maang tikka. The groom wore a cream salwar.

For the wedding ceremony, Samantha wore a special sari that was owned by Chaitanya's grandmother, D. Rajeswari, wife of popular producer D. Ramanaidu.

Designer Kresha Bajaj added her touch to the sari. Chaitanya was seen wearing a white-and-white silk dhoti and kurta.

Select guests were invited for Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's destination wedding. Members from the Daggubati family -- Venkatesh, Suresh Babu -- were among the few family members who were present at the wedding.

Other celebrity guests included actors Rahul Ravindran, Vennela Kishore, Sushanth and Adivi Sesh. On Sunday (October 8, 2017), the couple threw a lavish reception for friends from the industry in Hyderabad.

Talking about their love story, Chaitanya and Samantha first met on the sets of Gautham Vasudev Menon's Telugu romantic-drama Ye Maaya Chesave, seven years before they got married in 2017. It was Samantha's debut film.
