A still from Radhe Shyam
In the wake of the postponement of RRR, the makers of Prabhas-starrer Radhe Shyam have said there will be no change in the release date of the movie.
Rumour mills were rife that the film would be deferred amid spiking cases and theatres in Delhi and Bengal shutting down, but the makers refuted them.
The official statement from UV Creations said, "There is no change in the release plans of Radhe Shyam. The Prabhas-starrer is gearing up to hit the screens on January 14. Don't believe the rumours."
The makers also shared a new poster with the release date to assure fans that there would be no delay.

It is, however, noteworthy that trade analysts had reportedly confirmed to having received a similar assurance from RRR director Rajamouli, who said his film would hit the marquee, as planned.
However, as the situation escalated, they were eventually compelled to put the release on hold.
Whether or not the Prabhas-starrer meets a similar fate is yet to be seen as cases continue to spike across the country.
After Delhi shut down its cinema halls, curbs on movement in Bengal were announced only yesterday. Given that Radhe Shyam was set to enjoy a pan-India release, this development will also affect the film's collections.
The film stars Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead.
