Vijay Varma to make his Tamil debut with Suriya and Dulquer Salmaan's film

In a short span of time, Vijay Varma has made an impact with his incredible performances and great script choices. While he is working on a couple of Hindi projects, the actor announced his Tamil debut on Thursday. Vijay will be venturing into the South with a star-studded film.

Vijay will be seen with Suriya and Dulquer Salmaan in a Tamil film. Sharing the announcement video, he wrote, "Here we go. Happy to be a part of #Suriya43 alongside such talented people. Let's make it epic." He shared the same on Instagram stories and wrote, "My first Tamil film & it can't get grander than this!"

Composer GV Prakash Kumar will provide the music for the film, which marks his 100th project as a music director. Suriya's production banner 2D Entertainment, which he heads with actor-wife Jyotika, also shared the news on social media. The film will also star Nazriya Nazim Fahadh.

Sharing the announcement, Suriya wrote on X, "Dear all we are excited! Joining hands with @Sudha_Kongara again in a @gvprakash musical, his 100th! SO looking forward to work with my brother @dulQuer & the talented #Nazriya & the performance champ @MrVijayVarma Glad @2D_ENTPVTLTD is producing this special film! #Jyotika @rajsekarpandian #Suriya43 (sic)."

Vijay replied, "Thank you. I'm so thrilled and delighted to be working with you and this fantastic team Sudha ma'am has brought together. My first Tamil film and it can't get grander than this! Onwards."

In the video, the last part of the title was revealed as Purananooru which is a classic Tamil literary work, which is an anthology of 400 poems that are part of the Sangam literature, a collection of ancient Tamil literature. The poems are known for themes like love, war, and other aspects of early Tamil society and culture.

Vijay's remarkable journey in the entertainment industry has been nothing short of extraordinary. It began with 'Lust Stories 2,' followed by impactful performances in 'Dahaad,' 'Kaal Koot,' and his latest release, 'Jaane Jaan.'
