Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi wedding festivities kickstarted in Italy earlier this week. According to reports, the couple will tie the knot this afternoon in the presence of family members and friends. Ahead of the grand ceremony, Lavanya's Mehendi was held on Tuesday. Pictures and videos from the mehendi ceremony went viral on fan pages. The venue was Borgo San Felice Resort in Tuscany, Italy.
Bride Lavanya looked gorgeous in a pastel multicoloured embroidered lehenga. Varun wore a pink ombre sherwani. The couple posed for pictures with guests. Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy were seen posing for pictures with family members.

Varun and Lavanya's pre-wedding festivities commenced with a glitzy and glamourous Cocktail party on October 30. The couple opted for white outfits. Lavanya looked stunning in a white embellished gown, which was reportedly designed by Manish Malhotra. Varun was also dressed in an MM classic white tuxedo. In a viral picture, Varun and Lavanya posed with Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela.
Before the mehendi ceremony, the family united for Varun and Lavanya's Haldi. The couple opted for yellow outfits. The bride was dressed in a bright yellow kurta which was paired with a yellow and white ombre skirt. The groom wore a kurta.
As per the viral invite, the wedding will be taking place at 2.48 pm today in Italy. The theme is pastels. Post the rituals, Varun and Lavanya will be hosting a reception before ending their wedding festivities. The theme of the reception is Glitz and Glam.
Upasana shared a picture of the Konidela family before the wedding festivities started. Her caption read, "The KONIDELA KAMINENI holiday in Tuscany! All heart in one frame. Thank you Salvatore Ferragamo for this memorable experience." Ram Charan and her daughter, Klin Kaara Konidela's first glimpse in the picture won the hearts of fans.
Reportedly, the pre-wedding festivities featured rituals reflecting Lavanya's Uttar Pradesh heritage. As per reports, the first reception, scheduled for Hyderabad, will be a glamorous affair attended by their friends and colleagues in the film industry. Since Lavanya hails from Dehradun, the second reception will be hosted on an intimate scale with her closest friends from her hometown gracing it.
