Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi wedding: Telugu star Varun Tej Konidela married Lavanya Tripathi in a lavish wedding in Tuscany. Family members, which include several superstars like Allu Arjun and Ram Charan, attended the wedding. Varun's father Naga Babu shared the first photos of the newly-wed couple.

Sharing a photo of Varun and Lavanya at the mandap, dressed in their wedding finery, proud father Naga Babu wrote, "Your blessings are earnestly sought for the newly married couple, Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Konidela." For the wedding, Varun Tej dressed in a cream-gold sherwani designed by Manish Malhotra. The bride wore a Kanchipuram saree by the same designer. Ashwin Mawle and Hassan Khan are said to have styled the couple. Take a look:

Prior to the main wedding ceremony, Varun and Lavanya took part in the traditional Pellikoduku and Pellikuturu Puja before heading to the mandap. The wedding was held in traditional Telugu style and a fairytale affair with several prominent guests in attendance. The Pellikoduku and Pellikuturu Puja is a very old Telugu tradition which symbolises both the physical and spiritual union of two souls, as such it is considered the strongest of marriage forms.

From the pre-wedding cocktail night to the Haldi and then the Mehendi rituals, the couple cemented their vows in the presence of their family and friends. Watching the ceremony were several other acclaimed stars such as Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Nithiin, Pawan Kalyan, among others. Fans have been sharing glimpses of other star family members at the wedding.

Ahead of the grand ceremony, Lavanya's Mehendi was held on Tuesday. Pictures and videos from the mehendi ceremony went viral on fan pages. The venue was Borgo San Felice Resort in Tuscany, Italy. Bride Lavanya looked gorgeous in a pastel multicoloured embroidered lehenga. Varun wore a pink ombre sherwani. The couple posed for pictures with guests. Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy were seen posing for pictures with family members.

Varun Tej is gearing up for the release of his Bollywood debut film with ‘Operation Valentine', which is set to hit the screens on December 8, 2023.
