Superstar Suriya turns a year older today. The actor who primarily works in Tamil cinema has a massive fan following across India. He is also among one the most reputed actors in the country. On his birthday, he is being flooded with wishes by fans and colleagues on social media. Actors like Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan also took to social media to wish 'Jai Bhim' actor.
R Madhavan shared a throwback picture from a New Year party. In the picture along with R Madhavan is his wife and Suriya with his actress wife Jyotika.
"Wish you the happiest birthday ever my dear brother. May this be the best year yet for you. With the teaser of Kanguva..taking over the Internet.. it's already a fantabokous start my bro," he wrote wishing him.

Actor Ajay Devgn also took to his Instagram feed to wish Surya with a picture of the two. "Happy Birthday, Suriya! May your special day be brimming with joy & happiness. Have a good one brother," he wrote.
Meanwhile, marking Suriya's 48th birthday, the makers of his upcoming film treated audience with the first glimpse from 'Kanguva'. Studio Green in association with UV Creations is producing the Suriya starrer 'Kanguva' on a grand scale. The film has kept the expectation meter spiking up significantly from its point of launch. With the big announcement stating that the film will be released in 10 languages in 3D format, the trade circles are emblazoned with more excitement for the film. The first glimpse was released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English languages now. It will be out in four more languages soon.
The world of 'Kanguva' will be raw, rustic and will offer a new visual experience to the audience. Human emotions, powerful performances and never seen action sequences on a massive scale will be the core of the film. Featuring Suriya and Disha Patani in the lead roles, the film is directed by Siva, the creator of many blockbuster hits in his career. Another star cast of the film will be revealed in due course.
On the other hand, the National Award-winning actor is also looking forward to the release of the Hindi remake of 'Soorarai Pottru' which won him the National Award. The Hindi remake will feature Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madana. Suriya will reportedly make a cameo in the film which he is also producing.
