Samantha Ruth Prabhu
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most widely recognised and loved actors in India. Having started her film career in 2010 with the Telugu film 'Ye Maaya Chesave', the actress has come a long way since then. Over the years, she was featured in several Telugu and Tamil films. However, her role as the female lead was limited in the films which were largely narrated from the perspective of male characters. She still managed to shine with limited roles and in due time got recognition for her talent and was able to show her versatility on screen.
In the past couple of years, Samantha shone in projects with her performance. From 'Oh Baby' in Telugu where she shouldered the film as the protagonist to playing an antagonist in 'The Family Man' season 2, Samantha has started portraying her potential as a performer.

Samantha started her career as a lead heroine with this super hit Telugu film directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon. The film saw her opposite Naga Chaitanya, whom she began dating soon after. The couple dated and then got married. Four years after their marriage, they got separated. Meanwhile, the film narrates the story of Karthik, an engineering graduate, who wants to make films. He falls in love with Jessie, his neighbour, but her father opposes their relationship due to religious differences.
The film is currently available to stream on ZEE5.
Majili:
Samnantha essays the role of the calm and composed Sravani. She is married to Poorna, an aspiring cricketer and her neighbour for whom she had harboured feelings for years. However, he does not reciprocate her feelings as he is still depressed after being abandoned by his lover, Anshu. Things between Poorna and Srvanai change when the former is assigned to coach a young girl in cricket.
Kushi
Vijay Deverakonda's character Lenin Viplav falls in love with Samantha's character of Aaradhya. Viplav's father Sathyam is an atheist, and Aaradhya's father, Srinivasa Rao, is a spiritual personality in Kakinada, coming from an orthodox and conservative Brahmin household; both of them had a verbal sparring when they were asked to be chief guests for a live television debate. While Viplav's father agrees to the union, Aaradhya's father foresees problems after examining their horoscopes. The couple move in together and soon start facing problems in their marriage.
Jaanu:
Ram and Jaanu are childhood sweethearts who meet at their school reunion after nearly two decades. Although initially awkward, they soon start recollecting their past and resolve their differences. The film is available to stream on MX Player.
Mahanati:
While the film's central narrative is not Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda's romance, the characters fall in love as they hear the story of yesteryear actress Savitri. Samantha and Vijay play the role of journalists who unearth unheard stories of Savitri. The film is available to watch on Prime Video.
Eega:
Nani loves Bindu but is killed by a jealous Sudeep, who lusts after Bindu. Nani is reincarnated as a fly and decides to avenge his death. He teams up with Bindu to make Sudeep's life a living hell. The film is available to stream on Netflix
Shaakuntlam:
It is a historical romantic drama. King Dushyanta falls in love with a beautiful woman named Shakuntala and soon marries her. However, problems arise when a sage's curse makes him forget about her. The film is available to stream on Prime Video.
