Ram Mandir Inauguration: January 22nd will mark a historical event in the history of India - the day will witness the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir. Thousands of people, including several politicians, Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, and many more, have been invited for this special day. The celebration in Ayodhya commenced on January 16, leading up to the installation of the Ram Lalla idol in the temple.
Superstars Rajinikanth and Dhanush, among the several invitees, were snapped at the Chennai airport as they jetted off for Ayodhya ahead of Ram Mandir Inauguration. The news agency ANI shared the visuals on their X account to inform the users that the two superstars have left for the consecration ceremony.

Celebrities invited from Bollywood include Kangana Ranaut, Randeep Hooda, Lin Laishram, Ranbir Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sunny Deol, Rajkumar Hirani, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ajay Devgn, and Madhur Bhandarkar. Several south stars, including Rajinikanth, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Dhanush, Yash, and Rishab Shetty, are also invited to witness the grand historical moment.
Kangana Ranaut has already reached Ayodhya. The actress has immersed herself in religious activities ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya's newly-built Ram Temple. She was seen performing a yagya during her visit, dressed in a silk saree with heavy gold jewelry. Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Kangana shared a video from Ayodhya in which she is seen sweeping the floor of a temple while still in her traditional ensemble and sunglasses.
Anupam Kher, who has also reached Ayodhya, shared an update about the same on his social media. The actor while posting a video wrote, "I have reached Ayodhya with all Ram devotees. The airplane had an amazing atmosphere of devotion. Kirtan, the echo of Jai Jai of Ram. Wow! We are blessed. Our country is blessed! Hail Lord Ram!"
The Ram Mandir is spread in over 70 acres and it will be open to the public after Prime Minister Narendra Modi will do the "pran pratishtha" on January 22.
