Chiranjeevi honoured with Padma Vibhushan
Celebrations are in order for South Superstar Chiranjeevi, who has been conferred with the Padma Vibhushan honor by the Indian government. One of the top honours of the country, the legendary superstar has earned it with a resume that spans decades and work that is unmatched. To celebrate this victory, his son and RRR actor Ram Charan and daughter-in-law Upasana, who recently welcomed their daughter, have now hosted a grand party for Chiranjeevi.
As per Hindustan Times, the party was organized on their farmhouse situated on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The pictures that have gone viral on the internet show glimpses of the celebrations as the family, friends, and contemporaries are all happy about this occasion. Chiranjeevi can be seen wearing a simple ensemble, sporting a dark blue shirt, paired with denim and shoes. Ram Charan chose an embroidered black shirt with black pants, and Upasana opted for a grey shirt and a black flared skirt.
In attendance at the party were Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Brahamanandam, Thabitha Bandreddi, Suresh Babu, Mythri Naveen, and Dil Raju. Also present were Niharika, Varun Tej, Allu Aravind, Sharwanand, Shankar, Sai Dharam Tej, and Vamshi Paidipally. Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy, along with Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, Kalvakuntla Kavitha, and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, also marked their attendance.
After the Padma Vibhushan honour was announced for Chiranjeevi, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy felicitated the superstar in the state. An emotional Chiranjeevi said in his speech, "People in my house asked me how I felt after receiving the Padma Vibhushan, and I said I felt good. But, truth be told, I was much happier after receiving the Padma Bhushan award. After so many years, I was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, and I was not at all excited. Sure, I was happy and I knew that I had to acknowledge this award with dignity and respect, and I did that."

From people in the cinema industry, people from various organizations and associations to the politicians seated here at this event. It is the love that was showered upon me in this last week or so that gave me so much more happiness than actually receiving the award."
