The time has come! The sequel to Prithviraj Sukumaran's debut directorial "Lucifer' has now hit the floors. The makers of the film have started shooting for the much anticipated film in Delhi today. As announced earlier, Prithvriaj and Mohanlal have kickstarted the shoot of the ambitious film.
Prithviraj took to social media to share pictures from the pooja ceremony on the sets of the film. In the picture, Prithviraj is seen posing with his wife Supriya Prithviraj who is one of the producers of the film. Lead actor Mohanlal is also seen in the picture dressed in a simple black shirt and pants. Writer and actor Murali Gopi is also seen in the picture.
"The cameras start rolling as #L2E - Empuraan starts shoot today. Malayalam | Tamil | Telugu | Kannada | Hindi," wrote Prithviraj sharing the pictures.

Fans took to X to reshare the pictures and expressed their excitement for the film. Soon enough, Prithviraj and Mohanlal began trending on the platform.
The launch video of âL2E-Empuraan' showcases sequences from âLucifer' and Indrajith Sukumaran was heard saying, âHe is coming back."
Meanwhile, Prithviraj had injured himself while filming an action sequence for the film âVilayath Buddha'.
In June, he informed fans about his injury via social media post.
"Hello! So yesâ¦I had an accident while shooting an action sequence for âVilayatha Buddha'. Fortunately, I'm in the hands of experts who performed a key hole surgery and I'm now recouping. It's rest and physiotherapy ahead for a couple of months. Will try my best to use that time constructively, and I promise to fight through the pain to recover fully and get back into action asap. Thank you to all those who reached out and expressed concern and love," his note read.
Helmed by Jayan Nambiyar, âVilayath Buddha' also stars Anu Mohan and Priyamvada Krishnan in prominent roles.
Apart from that, he also has âBade Miyan Chote Miyan' alongside actors Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is all set to hit the theatres on Eid 2024. He will also be seen in âSalaar' with Prabhas. The film will hit the theatres on December 22, 2023.
