Kunal Kapoor's 'Veeram' to open at BRICS Film Festival

Venkaiah Naidu, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, yesterday unveiled the official poster for the fest, calling the upcoming event an "opportunity to explore areas of cooperation which can be leveraged to economic grouping."

The five-day festival, which will be held at the Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi, will screen four films each of the five countries - Brazil, Russia, China, South Africa and India. The closing film will be Chinese superstar Jackie Chan-starrer Skiptrace. China will host the next edition.

Two-time National Award-winning films like Bahubali, Bajirao Mastani and Thithi are among the Indian films in the competitive section this year.
