NTR Jr.'s ability to connect with people from all walks of life has captured the attention of millions in India and now, it seems, has garnered admirers in the political realm of Japan. While the actor has a massive fan following in India, the charm of his stardom went global with the success of RRR. The Rajamouli directorial that also starred Ram Charan took to the team to different parts of the world. While the film won awards at the Golden Globe and Oscars, they received unconditional love from audiences across the world who are not familiar with Indian films and their culture.
The team of 'RRR' had also visited Japan during the promotions of the film leading up to the Oscars last year. RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played lead roles, respectively. The film collected over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide.
Man of masses NTR Jr is currently shooting for his much-awaited film Devara which is directed by Kortala Siva and is scheduled to release on April 5, 2024. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Jr NTR will also be seen against Hrithik Roshan in the upcoming film 'War 2'. The film will be directed by Ayan Mukerji. The first film was directed by Sidharth Anand.
