Following his visit to Reddy's residence on Saturday, Allu Arjun explained the purpose behind his trip to Nandyala. According to the report, he stated, "I came here on my own. Among my friends, in whichever field they are in, I will step up and help them if they need my help. It doesn't mean I am backing or supporting any political party."
But what happened?
Amid the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Telugu superstar Allu Arjun made a surprise visit to Nandyal with his wife Sneha Reddy to support YSRCP candidate and close friend Silpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy. The duo were mobbed by a sea of fans who flocked to catch a glimpse of the actor. Thousands gathered around Reddy's residence following which the police had to intervene and escort Allu safely into his friend's house.
Sharing a glimpse from his meeting, Allu took to X and wrote, "Grateful to the people of Nandyal for the warm reception. Thank you, @SilpaRaviReddy garu, for the hospitality. Wishing you the very best in the elections and beyond. You have my unwavering love and support."
Allu's visit came as a surprise since a couple of days back he sent his best wishes to his uncle Pawan Kalyan ahead of his election journey. Allu took to his X and wrote: "My heartfelt wishes to @PawanKalyan garu on your election journey. I have always been immensely proud of the path you've chosen, dedicating your life to service. As a family member, my love and support will always be with you. My best wishes for achieving all that you aspire for."
Pawan Kalyan is the younger brother of Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi and Nagendra Babu. He is the uncle of actors Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, and Allu Arjun.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Allu Arjun is gearing up for the release of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. Last week, the makers unveiled the first single 'Pushpa Pushpa'.
