Australian cricketer David Warner sure has a soft spot for India and the movies made in the country. The actor who has often shown his admiration for the Pushpa trademark pose made famous by actor Allu Arjun has now congratulated the actor on his National Award win. The cricketer who is currently in India for the ongoing World Cup took to his Instagram handle to congratulate Allu Arjun.
Allu Arjun won his first National Award for Best Actor for his performance in the Telugu film 'Pushpa'. Warner shared a picture of Allu Arjun sitting with other National Award winners from the Telugu film industry including SS Rajamouli, Devi Sri Prasad, and MM Keeravani. He tagged the actor with a congratulatory message for him.
The Australian cricketer is widely known for his skills on the field but also for his reels and dance videos he shares on Instagram. The cricketer often dances to music from Indian movies. Recently, his dance on the songs 'Saami Saami' and 'Srivalli' from Pushpa went viral. On Friday, after hitting a century against Pakistan in Bengaluru, Warner celebrated the milestone by doing the Pushpa pose of running his hand under his chin. During a match in Hyderabad recently, Warner also entertained fans with his dance to Srivalli as the DJ played the song.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun recently made a trip to Delhi to accept this honour and was welcomed back to his hometown of Hyderabad with a hero's reception. His fans turned out in large numbers, creating a celebratory and joyous atmosphere with dhols, flower garlands, and resounding applause.

Adding to the celebrations was Allu Arjun's father-in-law, Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy, who organised a surprise party in honour of the actor's National Award win. The soiree was a star-studded affair, attended by close friends, family members, fellow industry colleagues, and dignitaries from the entertainment world. It was an evening of heartfelt congratulations, good wishes, and a grand feast, making it a memorable double celebration for the actor and his loved ones.
Allu Arjun became the first ever Telugu actor to win the National Award in the Best Actor category. He has been a part of the film industry for over two decades now. He will next be seen in the sequel of Pushpa.
