Dhruv Sharma, Kannada actor and player of Karnataka Bulldozers team led by Kichcha Sudeep at the Celebrity Cricket League, passed away of multiple organ failure today (Tuesday, August 1) in Bengaluru. He was 36 years old.

According to a report in Times of India, Dhruv collapsed at his home on Saturday. He was rushed to a hospital. He was declared dead at 3 am today at Columbia Asia Hospital. His last rites will be held at Kubrahalli in Bengaluru at 4 pm today.

Dhruv, who was congenitally impaired of speech and hearing abilities, was a professional cricketer and actor.

Dhruv Sharma is survived by his parents, wife and two daughters.

Film industry was shocked by his demise and many celebs including Aftab Shivdasani and Riteish Deshmukh took to Twitter to pay tribute.
