The Karnataka Film Technicians and Artistes Association have come up with a novel idea to celebrate Amrutha Mahotsava 75 years of Kannada cinema.
Seventy-five artistes will don the costumes made memorable by late Dr Raj Kumar in films like Babruvahana, Mayura, Ranadheera Kanteerava, Sri Krishna Deva Raya. They will walk from Kanteerava Studio, in Nandini Layout, to Palace Grounds on March 1.u00a0
Over 100 stuntmen and an equal number of singers and dancers will perform over the next five days at Kanteerava Studio.
"We have organised these celebrations with support from Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. I'd like to make it clear that this is not an alternative festival," said Ravindranath, secretary of the technicians and artistes association.
