Jungkook who started out as a trainee at Big Hit entertainment at 15, has in the past admitted that he used to be shy and his group members helped him open up. Despite being the main vocalist of the group, he would avoid taking centerstage during speeches at award ceremonies. From that phase to being the confident star performer at FIFA 2022, the vocalist has had a major transformation.

Jungkook created history by becoming the first Asian musician to perform the official anthem of the FIFA World Cup. In the past, artistes like Shakira and Enrique Iglesias have had this honour.

BTS's maknae is following bandmates J-hope, Jin and RM to release his own music. Recently J-hope released his solo album 'Jack in the Box,' Jin teamed up with Coldplay on 'The Astronaut,' and RM announced 'Indigo.'

Meanwhile, Qatar fans were disappointed after their team’s 0-2 defeat to Ecuador in the FIFA World Cup-opening match at Al Bayt Stadium on Sunday.
