Kim Namjoon is an ace when it comes to breaking things as soon as he touches them. If there ever existed a 'clumsy' Midas touch, it would have been invented by RM. How he broke this brand new pair of sunglasses within seconds remains a mystery for ARMY till date

While shooting for a music video, Namjoon was supposed to slam into the phone booth in mock frustration. However, he ended up doing it with such vigour that the phone prop positioned inside fell to the floor - and he ended up unravelling the chain

Some of Namjoon's most iconic clumsy moments have been witnessed in the kitchen. In this cooking-themed Run! BTS episode, he tried to strain noodles by putting his hands into the boiling water. No wonder Jin looks so agitated!

This episode gave us several laugh-out-loud moments courtesy clumsy Namjoon. One such instance was when he tried adding an 'apple-sized' portion of garlic (as Jin joked) into his dish - and ultimately added it to the wrong bowl! 

Clumsy Namjoon once again could not be trusted near anything potentially hazardous - and a kitchen is full of dangerous equipment! From trying to check the underside of a pancake with his 'X-Ray' vision, to adding salt twice, mistaking it for sugar - Namjoon continues to prove why 'he should stay inside for world peace.'

In another episode of BTS's variety show, the septet were tasked with making kimchi. While marinating the cabbage, RM somehow ended up tearing his gloves.

Oldest hyung Seokjin somehow tends to bear the brunt of all of Namjoon's clumsy kitchen accidents.

In this hilarious moment, Namjoon wondered why the knife was not slicing through the vegetables before the BTS members exclaimed that the cover of the knife was still on. In another instance, he tried to chop with the knife held upside-down. Oh, Namjoon.

In a signature move, RM somehow managed to remove the wheel from its groove during a BTS photoshoot.

Destroying things is second nature to the BTS leader. In an adorable moment, RM turned into an excited child when he got his hands on a toy gun, but broke it soon after. His quick expression change remains one iconic amongst ARMY.

Another thing Namjoon excels at is losing things. During a trip to Norway, Switzerland and Finland, RM lost his passport forcing him to return to Korea early. However, he did write the majority of 'Love Yourself: Tear' during this period - and those beautiful lyrics definitely haven't gotten ARMY complaining! (P.S. - he has also lost his Airpods over 30 times)

The BTS members are aware of their leader's clumsiness and take care of him - whether it's helping him find his position on stage or even adjusting his mic

Here is one we aren't complaining about! Namjoon accidentally ripped off Jungkook's shirt during a 'Fake Love' performance exposing the maknae's sculpted body.

BTS's pandemic reality show, 'In The Soop' have us several clumsy and funny moments featuring Kim Namjoon. From breaking the door of their house, to running around with random pots and pans in an attempt to help with the cooking, to nearly falling in the lake while retrieving his remote-controlled boat - it's a wonder he returned in one piece.

During a shoot for BTS's 'Black Swan,' Namjoon was supposed to run in a crouch stance to join J-Hope during a particular step. However, he slipped and fell, taking Jin, Jungkook and Jimin with him.

The video left both ARMY and BTS in splits - and we couldn't help but wonder at our leader's continuing clumsiness through the years.

Jin even went so far as to say that he would rewatch the hilarious mistake whenever he felt down! 

Namjoon leaves no survivors. In another dance practice video for '21st century girl,' Namjoon tripped over Taehyung's ankle and both fell down - adding a riot of laughter to an already hilarious Halloween-special choreography video.

Namjoon did a livestream on his birthday last year to thank ARMY for all his wishes. The leader engaged in several innocent antics like balancing the cake on the armrest of a chair and spinning around with the cake to the 'happy birthday' song only to find the candles blown out by the movement.

In an ASMR challenge where the task was to break to sponge as softly as possible, RM ended up completely demolishing it in the first go - becoming a hit comic relief for BTS and ARMY.

The BTS leader may have an IQ of 148, but is surprisingly innocent and naiive when it comes to everyday tasks. The members once said, 'In public, Namjoon speaks for us; behind the scenes, we collectively take care of him." And that's why BTS is a perfectly balanced team!
