BTS member Jungkook dropped his English solo single Seven on July 14

Jungkook of K-pop sensation BTS released Friday the single 'Seven', marking his official debut as a soloist.

Sung entirely in English, Jungkook's 'Seven' is about loving someone right "seven days a week."

Jungkook is the sixth BTS member to come up with a solo release since the septet announced that its members would take a break from group activities.

In the music video, Jungkook plays a man who persistently pursues his partner, played by 'The World of the Married' actress Han So-hee, despite their constant bickering and her apparent disregard of him.

'Seven' is "an invigorating summer song that is sure to have you experience the full breadth of Jungkook's charm," according to label Big Hit Music.

Since 'Seven was announced, ARMYs have been curious about what the song would be about. Knowing the number 7 is very important to BTS and the fandom, they thought it might even be about that, especially considering his previous solo tracks on BTS albums 'Begin' and 'My Time' were very personal about his life as an idol and his relationships.

ARMYs hoped they could better understand the true meaning of 'Seven' when concept photos were released. Yet, Jungkook surprised them with some sexy pics, including going shirtless.

One of the hottest female rappers of our day, Latto, makes a featured appearance on the track

The music video still manages to be humorous. We even see Jungkook in a casket. This is where Latto comes in and raps her verse, which has some eyebrow-raising sexy lyrics.

Jungkook opens the song, "Weight of the world on your shoulders, I kiss your waist and ease your mind, I must be favoured to know ya, I take my hands and trace your line."

After multiple efforts, the music video shows that Jungkook succeeds in wooing his lady love, who finally takes his hand in the pouring rain

While 'Seven' marks Jungkook's official solo debut, he has previously released a number of solo tracks, including 'Stay Alive' for the BTS-based webtoon '7Fates: Chakho' and 'Dreamers' for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Jungkook was invited to perform at the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series on Friday, July 14, the day Seven was released.

The GMA Summer Concert Series performance by Jungkook was forced to be pre-recorded due to thunder and lighting in New York's Central Park. Many fans had waited in line for days to see the K-pop superstar perform. Some were able to see the megastar record the songs for broadcast.

Jungkook performed his new single Seven, as well as fan favourites like Euphoria and Dynamite, dancing and singing while his fans enjoyed the show to the fullest

Jungkook had a lot of activities planned around the release of Seven, including a special game segment with Spotify.

While Jungkook has been wowing fans with his shirtless photos and sexiness on display in the run-up to release of Seven, the Spotify game saw him going back to being the Bangtan baby

Cute smile, adorable antics were on display as Jungkook tried to complete the tasks lined up for him in 100 seconds

The YouTube channel, K-pop ON! had disclosed a teaser which had ARMYs asking whether it is the same Jungkook who rendered fans senseless with anticipation upon dropping his solo behind-the-scenes film, wearing leather pants and showing off his tattoo sleeve.

In the Spotify video on YouTube, the idol can be seen driving a kid's motorcar and giggling. This display of duality has the fandom perplexed, especially after the release of the explicit version of Seven
