K-Pop success stories seem to emerge every day, and NewJeans is no exception. The talented girl group has been making waves with their second mini album, "Get Up," and their achievements on the Billboard charts are nothing short of remarkable.
For the sixth consecutive week, Get Up has maintained its strong position at no.24 on the prestigious Top 200 Albums chart. What makes this achievement even more impressive is that NewJeans is now the only K-pop girl group in history to have an album chart continuously in the top 25 of the Billboard 200. Their dedication and talent are truly paying off.
But that's not all - NewJeans isn't just dominating the album charts; their song Super Shy is holding its own on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Currently at no. 95, Super Shy has been a fixture on the chart for an impressive eight weeks. This feat places it in the same league as BLACKPINK's hit song Ice Cream, a collaboration with Selena Gomez, which also spent eight weeks on the chart. The only K-pop girl group song to surpass this record is FIFTY FIFTY's Cupid.
Get Up isn't just making waves on the album and singles charts; it's also conquering Billboard's World Albums chart. It recently reclaimed the no.1 spot for the fifth consecutive week, demonstrating its enduring popularity among fans. But that's not all - this versatile album has also secured high positions on other Billboard charts, including no.3 on Top Current Album Sales, no.4 on Top Album Sales, and no.13 on the Tastemaker Albums chart.
