The 2024 Cannes Film Festival, which commenced on May 14 witnessed a slew of stalwarts from the cinema and fashion industry take over the red carpet. The prestigious event in its 77th year will run through May 24 at the French Riviera. Among the various personalities worldwide attending the film festival, South Korean stars Han So Hee, Jung Hae In, and YoonA were also seen in stylish avatars.
Han So Hee, known for the recently released K-drama on Netflix âGyeongseong Creature' made a stunning appearance on the red carpet. She looked straight out of a fairytale with her whimsical look in an all-white ensemble. She accessorised her look with a brooch from the jewellery brand Boucheron that fitted perfectly in her braided hairstyle. The actress was invited by the French jewellery brand to be a part of the festival.

'Gyeongseong Creature' is a period drama set in 1945 during the occupation of Gyeongseong (the old name for Seoul) by the Imperial Japanese Army. The story revolves around civilians being taken captive for experiments and to be weaponized using bizarre experiments that lead to the creation of a monster. Han So Hee plays the main female lead in the series.
Actor Jung Hae In, who rose to fame with shows like âWhile You Were Sleeping', âA Piece of Your Mind', and âSnowdrop' looked debonair in a tuxedo as he made his debut at the festival for his upcoming movie âI, The Executioner'. Donning a sleek hairdo Jung Hae In was also seen interacting with the film's director Ryu Seung Wan and co-star Hwang Jung Min. 'I, The Executioner' is a crime-action film and a sequel to Ryu's 2015 hit âVeteran' and in Korea goes by the title 'Veteran 2.' The original film is known as the 5th all-time highest-grossing film in South Korean cinema history.
Im Yoon-ah, known mononymously as Yoona, who rose to fame as a member of the band âGirls' Generation' went on to star in series like âThe K2', âHush', and âKing the Land' among others also arrived at the French Riviera's red carpet.
She wore a mauve pink strapless gown. She also represented a jewellery band called Qeelin. She put her hair in a doughnut bun and went for a dewy yet minimal makeup look.
