On Friday, the South Korean boy band BTS will complete 12 years since its debut. This year is particularly special as it also marks the reunion of the band members after nearly three years, with all members completing their mandatory military service in 2024. Currently, only SUGA is left to be discharged, which will happen on June 21. The other six members have completed their service and are awaiting the grand reunion.
The festivities marking 12 years of BTS began on May 31 and will conclude on June 29. The biggest highlights of the celebration are J-Hope and Jin's solo concerts. J-Hope has been performing his solo act since February and has his final two concerts scheduled for June 13 and 14 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. The Hope on the Street tour began in February this year in Seoul. After traveling across the world, he is back in South Korea for one last time.
Ahead of the concert, J-Hope shared heartfelt feelings, saying, "The long journey is finally coming to an end. I think this is a stage where I've prepared a lot and will fully show what I've learned so far. I'm so grateful to be able to be with ARMY (fandom name) on this glorious day. I will work hard once again to create a concert where I do my best for my fans."

J-Hope will also be performing his new song "Killin' It Girl" (feat. GloRilla) for the first time at this concert. The track is characterized by bold performances and an addictive hip-hop sound, and is expected to be a major highlight that elevates the concert's energy.
On the other hand, Jin will begin his much-awaited solo tour, Run Seokjin EP, at the auxiliary stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex on June 28, with another performance at the same venue on June 29. He will then take the tour to the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, before concluding on August 10.
The BTS anniversary celebration follows a unique theme each year. This year, the theme is "Twelve O'Clock", inspired by BTS's heartfelt ballad 00:00 (Zero O'Clock) - a song about starting fresh. Special photo booths based on the theme have been set up across the city to mark the occasion.
Goyang City is also hosting a two-day offline event titled "2025 BTS FESTA" at the KINTEX Exhibition Center II on June 13 and 14 to commemorate the band's 12th anniversary. It marks the first time BTS is celebrating their anniversary in Goyang.
