Suga and Namjoon at the final show of D-Day
After Jungkook's and Jimin's surprise appearance on Min Yoongi aka Suga's final D-Day concert in the last two days, speculations were rife that other band members, specifically Namjoon or Taehyung would take to the stage and set it on fire during the final part of the concert series today. And ARMY did indeed get third time lucky - none other than BTS leader President Namjoon appeared as a guest performer onstage!
Suga and Namjoon performed the song 'Strange' together - and their combined, fierce rap skills set the stage on fire. RM took ARMY right to Bangtan's roots by sporting a pair of sunglasses. Post their energetic joint performance, Yoongi went backstage, and Namjoon addressed fans. Namjoon often takes to Instagram to share snippets from his personal travels and what he's been up to these days, but it was the first time he performed after a long hiatus. In his speech he said that he had missed fans a lot and was honoured that he could be part of Yoongi's final D-Day show at KSPO Dome in Seoul.
ARMYs were also anxious that the BTS leader might be enlisting in the military soon after he sported a buzzcut at the Incheon airport yesterday. However, RM, reassuring fans said that his hair had nothing to do with the military, and he had cut it only because he was sweating too much! He also said that while he wouldn't be enlisting in the army anytime soon, this would be the last time he would perform on stage prior to this mandatory service. As a special gift to ARMYs, RM performed an unreleased and untitled track - one of many that the leader has in his musical work-in-progress treasure trove. His melodious and sincere voice swept across the stadium - and fans appreciated listening to a raw version of a BTS track in a possibly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Namjoon was not the only surprise guest at Yoongi's show today. BTS have been on hiatus as a group since last year to pursue personal travels and musical projects. Two of the members, Bangtan's oldest, Jin and main dancer J-Hope enlisted in the army for their mandatory service duties. Fans have been missing the two energetic and sunshiney members of the squad and eagerly await little snippets from their day on Weverse or rare photos. Thus, you can imagine what happened when ARMYs spotted Jin and J-Hope excitedly screaming and waving their ARMY bombs to support Yoongi on stage -- that's right, those squeals were mirrored and echoed through the stadium a thousand-fold! Yoongi even gave a shoutout to J-Hope while performing 'People Pt. 2.'
Yoongi definitely has those magical powers that ARMYs have suspected for years - the power to reunite OT7 under one roof! Oh yeah, ARMY definitely won today.
