BTS member Jungkook at Grand Central Terminal in New York
Four years after BTS shot a special performance video of their song ON at the Grand Central station in New York, group member Jungkook returned to the iconic location to shoot for a Calvin Klein ad. BTS had shot for the song as part of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in 2020 at the same venue, which Jungkook returned to as a brand ambassador of Calvin Klein.
In a new video released by the lifestyle brand, the lead vocalist and youngest member of BTS can be seen dancing through the Grand Central Terminal. Directed and photographed by Mert Alas, and styled by Emmanuelle Alt, the campaign sees the brand's global brand ambassador sporting a selection of new Calvin Klein Jeans styles in the video.
The official Instagram of Calvin Klein shared the video, writing, "Jung Kook in Calvin Klein. Experience bold denim silhouettes. Unbuttoned, iconic energy. Discover the new collection."
Shot in black and white, the ad reflects the '90s style of the American lifestyle brand, highlighting everyday wardrobe essentials, imbued with vibrant youthfulness and Calvin Klein's trademark minimalist design principles. These are complemented by the global K-pop star's captivating charisma and fashion sense.
