BTS member Jungkook, along with fellow member Jimin, completed his mandatory military service on June 11. He was officially discharged on Wednesday after serving for two years. Just hours after his discharge, a fan reportedly attempted to break into his house in Seoul. The woman was caught by authorities during the attempt.
According to Korean media, a Chinese woman in her 30s tried to break into Jungkook's home on the day of his discharge. On June 12, the woman was apprehended by local police for allegedly attempting to trespass. She was taken into custody on the spot.

Reports state that the woman has been booked for home invasion. She is said to have repeatedly tried different passwords at Jungkook's front door around 11 PM on June 11. A neighbor informed the police of the suspicious activity.
During the investigation, the woman confessed that she had come to South Korea with the intention of meeting Jungkook in person after his military discharge.
Like other BTS members, Jimin and Jungkook were seen leaving the military base in their army uniforms. They were warmly welcomed by members of the press.
Photos from the discharge day show the duo smiling for the cameras and greeting fans and media gathered at the site. They were also seen giggling while playfully hiding their faces behind the bouquets they received.
RM and V were the third and fourth members of the seven-member group to complete their military service. Jungkook and Jimin are now the fifth and sixth. Earlier, Jin and J-Hope were discharged in 2024. SUGA, the final member, is set to complete his service on June 21. This will mark the first time in three years that all members of BTS will reunite publicly.
The K-pop group began their military enlistments in 2022, starting with Jin in December. Each member has served in different capacities, with service durations of up to 18 months. With most members now discharged, anticipation is high for BTS's long-awaited comeback.
