Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sophie Turner unfollow each other on Instagram amid former's divorce with Joe Jonas

Singer Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner last month. The former couple have since been in the news for their impending divorce. The divorce saga seems to have spilled into the entire family. Amid divorce legalities, Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra Jonas have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Joe and Sophie filed for divorce after four years of marriage.

While Sophie no longer follows Priyanka on Instagram, she continues to follow Joe, his elder brother Kevin, and his wife Danielle Jonas.

Amid news of her unfollowing Sophie Turner, Priyanka posted a birthday wish for her friend and termed current times as "uncertain" in her post. "At a time when everything feels so uncertain .. I'm so grateful some things are a constant. @tam2cul you have not only been my best friend and confidant but my sister for more than 2 decades! Damn! Here's to making so many more memories…. I love you and Happy Birthday Tamanna. Hope you are surrounded by all the love and joy u deserve. I miss you," she wrote on Instagram on Saturday morning wishing a close friend.

Meanwhile, Sophie and Priyanka were known to share a close bond. In an interview with Elle in 2020 Sophie had said that she had to remind herself that Priyanka is a much senior actor. "With Pri, especially, it's kind of crazy. You have to remind yourself that she's basically had a 20-year career in Bollywood already. She's like the biggest thing in India right now... When we went there for her and Nick's wedding, we were treated like royalty. They worship her over there," she said.

While Priyanka has not spoken about Joe and Sophie's divorce, recently some reports claimed that Priyanka is having a tough time going through the breakup of her close ones and their custody battle. "She and So­phie were very close. There was once a time when Sophie thought she and Joe would move to London and so would Nick and Priyanka. Priyanka loves Sophie and her nieces and doesn't want to do anything to jeopar­dise them being in her life," the source said as per Life & Style.
