Netflix series Bridgerton became an instant hit when it first aired on the streaming site in December. In January, die-hard fans of the drama rejoiced when the video giant revealed that season two was going into production in Spring 2021. On April 1, online outlet The Tab took full advantage of the day by targeting Bridgerton fans with a cheeky announcement. The publication claimed that season two was set to be unveiled as early as next week, a news that sent fans into a tizzy.

Did he, did he not?

13 Reasons Why star Brandon Flynn, who came out as queer years ago, took to Instagram to reveal that he is, actually, heterosexual. The actor said he "came out as a queer man because I thought it would do something for my career". The actor, who got visibly emotional during the post, shared that he is straight. While no clarification was posted in the aftermath, fans were convinced that Flynn, who has been taking a stand for the queer community long before he gained fame, was merely pulling off a prank.

Nope, he's not back!

Piers Morgan announced that he was offered his place back on Good Morning Britain after his exit from the show last month, following his remarks on Meghan Markle. Tweeting to his almost eight million followers, the presenter declared that, in light of comments from the Archbishop of Canterbury denying suggestions from Meghan that he had married the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in a private ceremony days before their much-publicised royal wedding, he has been reinstated. He later revealed that it was untrue.

Rick and Morty junior?

American adult-oriented animation channel Adult Swim shared a spoof trailer for a new kids' version of Rick and Morty. The trailer for Rick and Morty Babies came alongside the (fake) news that the show's network was re-branding as Adult Swim Junior, as per reports. After news of the re-branding spread, the network released what claimed to be the first episode of the new kid-centric version of the lauded show. The channel revisited Total Rickall, the fourth episode season 2.
