Bosko Kante, a musician, has accused Lipa of using his talk box in the remixes of the song without obtaining proper permission. Talk boxes are devices that transform one's voice into a musical instrument. The aggrieved artist is currently seeking a staggering $20 million in damages from Dua Lipa.
The lawsuit alleges that Lipa not only utilized Bosko's work in the 'Levitating' remixes but also in other tracks, such as her collaborations with The Blessed Madonna, Missy Elliott, and a remix featuring DaBaby.
Earlier in June 2021, Lipa faced legal challenges when her lawsuit against Warner Music Group was dismissed, along with a separate claim filed by songwriters Sandy Linzer and L. Russell Brown.
Adding to her legal troubles, Lipa encountered another lawsuit in the same year. She was accused of posting an unauthorized photo of herself on Instagram.
