Actor David Oyelowo says his children are not impressed with any of his films like they are with "The Cloverfield Paradox". David is married to actress Jessica Oyelowo with whom he shares four children -- three sons and a daughter. He essays the role of an astronaut in the Netflix's science fiction horror film.
"I have three sons and I've done a lot of films that are, you know, historical characters and are in important movies. Those movies do not impress my children at all," David said in a statement. He added: "This on the other hand. (The reaction from his children was) 'Woah dad, that's amazing, that's awesome'. So yes, that's the reason alone, to do this. Them coming to visit me on set. I mean they had the best time. Seeing me in that space suit hanging upside down, the whole thing," he added.
Talking about the movie, the "Selma" star said: "The incremental 'shock-ed-ness' that you know we have in this film is really quite something so my kids like that as well." "The Cloverfield Paradox" tells the story of a group of international astronauts on a space station, where they are working to solve a massive energy crisis on Earth. The experimental technology aboard the station has an unexpected result, leaving the team isolated and fighting for their survival.
