It is a myth that actors only live a glamorous life. From afar, it looks like actors are only paid to look good and have a lot of fun while travelling to exotic new places. Although that's part of the job, the hard work and dedication they have to put in is nothing short of inspirational. One such actor is Dane DeHaan, the lead in Luc Besson's sci-fi fantasy movie - Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, who has trained for seven months to play the role of Valerian, an interstellar space agent!

The actor started major workout sessions to get into the seamless shape for the role. He explains, "Almost every day there were stunts, and it was important that I sustained my performance with this super-positive, Valerian-like energy. I had to work out a lot because I definitely didn't look like I could save the universe before I got cast!"

Completing his newly muscled physique, DeHaan rained some spectacular action sequences, urged on by the enthusiastic director, Luc Besson. He commented with, "Luc's enthusiasm on set every day was amazing," Dane adds up with Luc's passion of the movie with, "He was having the time of his life, and that rubbed off on all of us. I've never acted in a movie before that was such pure fun to make."
