Ahead of his maiden visit to the country, Wiz Khalifa talks about his love for Indian culture
Besides witnessing the magic of EDM bigwigs Martin Garrix and Jason Derulo, music aficionados who are heading to Goa for Time Out 72 this week will have another musical treat lined up - the music festival will also mark Wiz Khalifa's maiden act in India. The stylish American rapper will be headlining the second day of the musical gala.The See You Again hitmaker, on his part, can't wait to perform on Indian turf. "I love travelling because that brings me closer to my fans and I can't wait to meet my Indian admirers. I'm excited about exploring the country and embracing its culture," the 30-year-old tells mid-day.

Ask him if he has customised a set for the Goa gig, Khalifa says he likes his sets to be organic. "Every show is about the people. So, I will decide the set on the basis of the fans' demands, and present what they like."mid-day had reported that Priyanka Chopra, who has previously collaborated with Khalifa on a brand campaign, was likely to host a party for him in the beach state. "I have heard of Bollywood, but I'm not quite familiar with the names of the stars," says Khalifa, adding that he would love to collaborate with B-Town stars and musicians on a film. "I am open to working with innovative artistes."
