Los Angeles: Actress-turned-director Angelina Jolie was so determined to make her latest movie, "Unbroken", perfect that she was barely eating on set.

Japanese musician Miyavi, who made his acting debut with Jolie's second directorial film, said that he had been surprised by how much Jolie believed in his abilities and also by how much weight the actress lost while they were filming, reports mirror.co.uk.

"It was surprising how much she trusted me, all of us, on the set. She was so determined. I was also surprised how skinny she got. You know, she was not eating much," the 33-year-old told HuffPost Live

"I felt so bad, I was the only one who got fat during filming," he added.
