Katy Perry and boyfriend Orlando Bloom recently went on a "romantic dinner" date at the Sunset Tower Hotel's Tower Bar in West Hollywood. During their night out, there happened to be a familiar-looking patron at the venue - John Mayer, the singer's ex.

Perry, 31, and Mayer, 38, chatted and Bloom did not seem to mind, a website said.
The hotel is located in an area full of clubs and restaurants where Mayer has been spotted many times. A day earlier, he hung out at the Comedy Store comedy club, located just down the street.
