Last week, Warner Bros released the first trailer for 'The Iron Giant: Signature Edition', a new Blu-Ray release of Brad Bird's 1999 animated film 'The Iron Giant'.
Shortly after the trailer debuted, Diesel, the actor who played the titular character, uploaded the trailer on his Facebook page along with a caption which indicated that Warner Bros was already planning the second film.
"Don't be surprised when you hear WB announce the sequel," read the caption. He also admitted that the enormous robot was one of the first and one of his favourite characters he had ever played, reports aceshowbiz.com.
