The video has made history with being the only video on YouTube to have 43.2 million views in 24 hours, previously held by Psy's "Gentleman", which reached 36 million views in its 24 hours.
Talking about multiple records, LWYMMD is #1 on Spotify Viral 50, #1 on Spotify Top 200 and UK's No. 1 amongst the 20 songs making the biggest impact in this week, based on movement up the Official Singles Chart. The song also brings her back on #7 on the Billboards list of Social 50. The Social 50 is powered by data tracked by music analytics company Next Big Sound and ranks the most popular artists on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Wikipedia and Tumblr.
Other accomplishments of LWYMMD is that it holds rank 1 on Apple Music, and Amazon Music charts. Taylor Swift was also trending on Twitter, earning 358,000 mentions and 303,000 reactions.
Look What You Made Me Do also set Spotify's Global first day record with 8 million streams on its date of release. The lyric video topped YouTube's record for the most viewed lyric video in 24 hours, with more than 19 million views and now has more than 50 million views on YouTube.
The song is also competing to be seen in the next weeks Billboard Hot 100 chart at top 10 chart.
