Fans across the world celebrate Star Wars Day by wishing 'May The Fourth Be With You' on everyone. Daisy Ridley and 'friends' also wish fans 'Happy Star Wars Day'
'May the Fourth Be With You'. This is a phrase only nerds and Star Wars fans will understand and appreciate.
'May The Fourth Be With You' is a play on the phrase, "May the Force be with you" from the 'Star Wars' saga.

The saying has led to an unofficial holiday known as Star Wars Day that all Star Wars fans look forward to as the day they can 'officialy' celebrate their love for the franchise.
Last year's revival of the series with 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'. and the upcoming 'Episode VIII' and 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' have made this year's Star Wars Day even more special -- on an intergalactic scale.

While the Star Wars' official website says that "May the Fourth" references can be traced back to 1979, but the day really took off in a big way after the Internet started connecting fans.
