A website confirmed that the singer, daughter of the late musician Ravi Shankar, gave birth to her second child.
Jones is already mother to a baby boy, who she secretly welcomed into the world in February 2014 with her partner, a musician who she has refrained from naming in interviews.
Though she's always remained silent about her private life, she brought the child with her to an event for military mothers at the White House a few months after giving birth.
Jones and her partner were also spotted walking through a Los Angeles airport in late 2014 with their child.
