Nicole Scherzinger to sing at Nelson Mandel's funeral?

The former Pussycat Doll has reportedly held a secret visit with the late revolutionary's daughters at London's Mandarin Hotel and they discussed a potential performance, reported Sun Online.

"During the chat Nicole had with the daughters it was mentioned she should sing at his funeral, or at least be a very prominent guest," a source said.

The 'X Factor' UK judge once sang for the political activist, choosing to perform 'Precious Lord', but she recently joked he was less than impressed with her rendition.

"I had the honour of meeting him and I sang him my favourite hymn 'Precious Lord'. But I don't think he liked it as afterwards he said, 'Have you got anything else?'"
