Singer Mariah Carey's pre-nuptial agreement with James Packer apparently included strict conditions relating to clothing allowances and the ownership of presents. Carey who recently split from Packer, reportedly rejected the agreement drawn up by her then-fiance's legal team, reported an online portal.

One condition on the document read: "Except for gifts between them for their engagement, wedding or on birthdays and anniversaries, no item of jewellery costing over $250,000 will be deemed a gift unless accompanied by, a writing specifically stating ‘This is my gift to you'." Packer also refused to foot the bill for Carey's stage costumes or clothes for five-year-old Moroccan and Monroe, the twins she has with ex-husband Nick Cannon.

With a blank space left for an amount to agree on, it states: "The clothing is not to be used for business" and "Mariah shall provide all clothing for her children". The document also states: "James shall cause a credit card(s) to be issued for use by Mariah and staff. The amount of expenses shall not exceed US $____ per calendar month." The space for the figure of the amount is left blank, reported a website. While Packer agreed to provide the singer with a "private aircraft", Carey would have been allowed to use it only when her partner felt it was "appropriate".

"James shall provide the use of one aircraft, for Mariah and her children's use, only when James determines it is appropriate to do so," the document read. Their engagement was called off last month.
